I sort of rescued a German Shepard early last spring. It was a breeder who had to neuter him and find a home for him because he has slight hip dysplasia. (Her loss our wonderful gain, we admire her for doing it, he was already winning in shows, and it was hard for her.) She sent him with your food. So we decided to put our two standard poodles on it. One is 8 years old. In a nut shell, he went from whining and listlessness to a totally different dog. Sometimes I wish he would sort of go back to mellow. I thought he was just getting old and there was nothing I could do, but make him comfortable. In 8 months or so on you food you can not tell that he is not 3 like the other two dogs. I am SOO happy, and I feel guilty about how I was treating him in the past. I am not spending any more money on your food then I was on cheap grocery store food.
THANK YOU for producing a affordable and good quality food. I have now told my sisters, (one who has bred Bernese Mountain Dogs over the past 20 years.) One sister took my advice for her 8 year old Bernese, and after a few months she calls me almost every other day to thank me and tell me how well her dog is doing. I tell everyone I see about your food. I am a dog groomer, and now I really can see how food really does affect the dog. I can see it in the gloss of their hair, and the strength of the nails, and just their love of living. So if there is a way I can just send a couple of action photos of my dogs. They are such healthy boys now, and happy dogs. Now I am going to switch my cats over. They are farm cats, and would probably like having a good diet as well.

It's well into hunting season and my German Wirehaired Pointer has been working hard four or five days per week for the past two months. Early on during this intense field work he began to lose weight. I can stand to lose a few pounds, but not him. I now have a new puppy (an American Bulldog) and he to will be eating Diamond Naturals Extreme for many years.
